If you're an associational leader or DOM at a Texas Baptists association, we invite you to attend our quarterly roundtable discussions with Executive Director-Treasurer Tamiko Jones.
WMU of Texas family, it is with mixed feelings that I must announce the revision of our annual Women’s Build in the Penitas area of our South Texas border communities.
While reading my Bible this week, I camped in Psalms 61-63. With so much uncertainty around us, I could identify with David and how he was feeling when he said, “Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer” (Psalm 61:1).
The Lord is the source of all our hope. As we look to Him, He will give us hope. Even as we age or feel worn out, we can still have hope!
We've all had some challenging circumstances or difficulties in life. Even in the midst of chaos or in difficult places, God continues to open the door for us to serve. It is up to us to remain connected to the source of our strength so that we can press forward.
As we watch the news, read about and experience the turmoil our country is going through, who is God calling you to be? Please watch as Tamiko Jones, our Executive Director-Treasurer, shares a perspective. How is God speaking to your heart?
