MISSIONS DISCIPLESHIP FOR HISPANIC CHURCHES

God has given the church a mission: "Go and make disciples of all nations . . . " From the youngest child to the most seasoned saint, God is shaping His people to be like Jesus and follow Him. Woman's Missionary Union® offers resources, ideas, and activities for all ages.

Churches can create missional discipleship around these six objectives:

  • Pray for missions
  • Learn about missions
  • Support missions
  • Mission action and personal witnessing
  • Develop spiritually toward a missions lifestyle
  • Participate in the work of the church and denomination

MISSIONS DISCIPLESHIP SMALL GROUPS

WMU offers missions discipleship groups as a way to intentionally involve preschool, children, students and young adults in missions beyond Sunday School. These groups help the next generation develop and authentic faith in Christ and learn they have an active part to play in God's plan. Cultivating a heart for missions in young people brings great value to participants, families and the entire church. Take a look at the missions group available to you!

PRAY. GIVE. GO. > TEXAS, NORTH AMERICA, INTERNATIONALLY

Why a week of prayer and a missions offering? We believe people can pray more effectively and give more generously if they know and understand what God is doing and how they can be involved. For over a 100 years WMU has led churches to see the fields, then to pray and give. This often leads to direct involvement as well.

Churches can order free posters, prayer guides and offering envelopes for all three special missions offerings. The material is available in Spanish and English. Additional promotional ideas and video segments can be found on the website addresses given after each offering name.
