Light in the Gap ministry welcomes recently released women from the justice system, at the Waco bus station.

Light in the Gap provides a handmade tote bag filled with snacks and toiletry items, as well as sitting with the ladies offering encouragement and the opportunity to pray with them while they wait for their bus to take them home.

How Can You Be Involved?

Light in the Gap has discovered the need to provide clothing for these women, as they are released from prison wearing white t-shirts and men’s pants.

You can be a part of this ministry by bringing a NEW and COLORFUL (no white or gray)blouse.

A collection bin will be near the registration table.

Be sure to stop by The Village where we will have numerous exhibitors from Texas Baptists showcasing their ministries.  Find out what they do and how you can be a part of it!  We will also have our WorldCrafts Marketplace where you can shop in our fair-trade market and help women and men from around the world learn about the Gospel while they earn a sustainable wage.

The ACTEENS TRACK & AFTERGLOW at PURSUE is designed to equip and empower the next generation of young women to truly make a difference with their lives.

Girls will experience great worship, dynamic speakers, hands-on ministry and missions training workshops.

AFTERGLOW SESSION begins after the Friday night general session.

Don’t have an Acteens group in your church? Don’t worry.  This track is open for all teens and young women. Don’t miss it!

REGISTRATION: Acteens leaders pay the PURSUE registration price and all Acteens (teen girls) are free! Young women ages 12-17 are welcome to attend.

SEEKING REFUGE: A Refugee Simulation
