Girls in Action®

Girls in Action (GA) is a missions discipleship group for girls in grades 1–6. The GA Motto is “Go Forward!” and they do just that. They grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on missions opportunities. GA leads girls to a lifelong commitment to Christ, His mission, and His church.

How to Start a Girls In Action Group:

• Begin with prayer: Make prayer a part of each step in starting and leading a Girls in Action group.

• Download starter pack: Download a sample of the Missions Journey: Kids curriculum.

• Contact WMU of Texas: Contact the WMU of Texas Age-Level Strategist to learn more about updates, resources, and leadership training for Girls in Action leaders and volunteers. Attend leadership development events hosted by WMU of Texas.

  • Register WMU group

• Select leaders: Based on the number of girls expected, secure the number of leaders you will need.

• Order materials: Place your order for Girls in Action material by visiting the WMU store.
