Christian Women’s Job Corps and Christian Men’s Job Corps equip women and men, in a Christian context, for life and employment. Through nearly 200 registered and certified CWJC/CMJC sites across the nation, thousands of women and men each year gain hope for their future.

CWJC/CMJC sites impact lives by offering

  • High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation
  • English as a Second Language Classes
  • Computer Classes
  • Bible Study
  • Mentoring
  • Job Readiness Skills

Would you like to join WMU of Texas in making an eternal difference as we equip women and men, in a Christian context, for life and employment?

National Certification Training is available June 29-30, 2021 for those interested in starting a Christian Women’s or Christian Men’s Job Corps. To register for the two-day Zoom training led by the North Carolina training team email Cara Lynn Vogel at cwjcnc[at]gmail.com. The cost is $75 for the 2-day training, $25 for the online pre-requisite course, and the cost of the two books.

Level 1 (2 days) training equips prospective site coordinators to plan, develop, operate and evaluate a Christian Women’s Job Corps/Christian Men’s Job Corps ministry. This training is the beginning point of a CWJC/CMJC leader’s journey.

As a result of completing this training, individuals will be able to:

  1. Articulate the Biblical basis for the CWJC/CMJC model.

  2. List and explain the key elements of a CWJC/CMJC ministry.

  3. Identify the steps to create and run a CWJC/CMJC ministry site.

  4. Articulate the purpose and skills necessary for a mentoring relationship in a poverty context.

  5. Complete a ministry plan for organizing, operating, and evaluating a CWJC/CMJC ministry.
