Sisters Who Care
Want to plan ahead for some summer fun and ways to join God with your hands and heart in unassuming ways? Keep June 2016 open for the Sisters Who Care Regional Day of Service. This is a day to roll up your sleeves and take part in ministry action as you connect with others while using your gifts and talents.
Join Sisters Who Care by bringing your church ministry teams, family members and friends. Whether you choose East, West, South, or Central Texas, you will have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of God as you serve in tangible ways. There will be five different ministry locations for you to find the team that is closest to you:

- East Texas | June 18th
- Houston | June 4th
- Lubbock | June 11th
- San Antonio | June 4th
No matter where you serve you will have food, fun and fellowship.

Dallas, June 4
Cornerstone Baptist Church

Items Needed for Viola’s House
Viola's House seeks to meet the needs of young teen mothers and other residents in the community. Needs include bus passes, pampers, baby wipes, baby items, baby formula, cases of water, toiletries for women and women’s shoes and clothing. Click here to see the complete wish list.

Feed the Homeless at Cornerstone Kitchen, light construction at Viola's House, organize donations for Viola's house, cuddle babies while the mother attend Saturday morning class, Cornerstone Kids Saturday Program, Cornerstone Clothes Closet, ministry to senior adults at Park Manor, and/or beautify the Cornerstone Community Garden.

Bring socks cotton tube sucks for the Houston Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, or donate 1 yard of flannel to help women in South Asia, or Walmart gift cards for the Joy Fellowship Center
Neighborhood canvassing for new church plant, help beautify existing gardens at nursing home and local rehabilitation center, share Bible stories; and coordinate arts & crafts at the Joy Fellowship Center.
San Antonio, June 4
Berean Bible Fellowship Church

Please bring travel-size toiletries for the rehabilitation centers.
Summer block party to include arts and crafts, games, food and fun. Inspire residents at Pecan Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare and the Southeast Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers through arts, crafts, games, music and Bible study.
Lubbock, June 11
New Millennium Baptist church

Time: 8am to 2pm
Each adult is asked to bring 3 can good for the South Plains Food Bank (SPFB). The goal is to have 1,000 cans goods to help feed the families of Lubbock and surrounding areas.
Mission Lubbock, Ronald McDonald House and Buckner Family Pathways, prayer walk through neighborhoods, and/or care for homebound through household assistance, encouragement, Bible study and prayer.
Nacogdoches, June 25
