Imagine if young women in all of our churches truly gained an understanding of what it means to be "radically involved in the mission of God." Whether on college campuses, working professionally, or nurturing young children of their own, groups of young women are reaching the world for Christ. WMU provides resources to help guide young women to a greater understanding of God's work in the world and how they can join Him in His work. We are here to support you whether you lead a missions small group or simply want ideas to engage the world.

Missions Small Group

What is myMISSION?

The WMU missions organization for young women is myMISSION. Through myMISSION, young women engage in Bible study, the building of community, and various missions projects. This organization functions like a cross between a small groups Bible Study, a prayer group, and a missions organization. Anyone can be a part of myMISSION. It's for the college student, the young professional, the young mom, and the girl next door. This organization is an avenue through which young women can explore their faith together and learn to live it out wherever they are. In addition, myMISSION encourages young women to learn about their world and missions. Most importantly, myMISSION calls young women to live fully in their circumstances and develop a missional lifestyle that engages people around them.

The goal of myMISSION?

Group goals are similar to goals most of us strive for in our day-to-day lives. They include discipleship, social transformation, fellowship, and encouragement among Christian women.

Through these avenues women will be challenged to learn about, pray for, give to and be involved in missions as they grow spiritually. As a result, members will move outside the walls of the church and into the world, living missional lives.
